BROOKLYN -- The NIT Season Tip-Off returns to Barclays Center for a fifth-straight season this Thanksgiving week, with Penn State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State and Syracuse participating in this year's two-day event. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 12.
The Nittany Lions play Mississippi at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 27, on ESPN2 and will meet either the Oklahoma State or Syracuse on Friday.
All available seat options are located in the Barclays Center lower bowl with tickets starting at just $27.50 per day, plus taxes and fees. The Penn State section is located in front of Section 7 for the Wednesday, Nov. 27 game, and in front of Section 9 for the Friday, Nov. 29 game.
Friday's third-place game will air at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNEWS, and the championship follows at 9 p.m. ET, on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Tickets for the NIT Season Tip-Off can be purchased online at www.barclayscenter.com, or www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center starting at noon ET on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Group Tickets are available by calling 855-GROUP-BK.
The NIT Season Tip-Off has been played in New York City every November since 1985 and is one of 11 college basketball events owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN.
