Men's Volleyball Hosts Princeton with Regular Season Title Up for Grabs

The teams play at Rec Hall Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The EIVA regular season title is on the line as Penn State hosts No. 19 Princeton at Rec Hall for the final weekend of conference play. The teams play Friday at 7 p.m., and again Saturday at 3 p.m. Both matches will stream on B1G+.

Princeton needs just one win to clinch the EIVA regular season title and hosting rights for the conference tournament for the first time since 2019. Penn State has to win both matches to put the tournament at Rec Hall for the fifth-straight year.

While only Penn State and Princeton are in contention for the top seed in the EIVA Tournament, there are three teams -- Penn State, NJIT, and Harvard -- that can still grab the second seed and a bye to the semifinal round if Princeton were to win the conference. The Nittany Lions are currently in second at 7-3, NJIT is 6-4, and Harvard is 5-5. The Nittany Lions would lose head-to-head tiebreakers against both teams.
