Men’s Lacrosse Seeded Third in the 2025 Big Ten Tournament

Penn State will host Johns Hopkins in Quarterfinals on Saturday, April 26

ROSEMONT, Ill.- Penn State men’s lacrosse clinches the third seed in the 2025 Big Ten Tournament as announced by the conference. The Nittany Lions are slated to host John Hopkins, the six seed, on Saturday, April 26 in Happy Valley. First faceoff is set for noon with the game being streamed on B1G+.

After finishing the regular season with a win over Rutgers on Friday, April 18, PSU finished with a 3-2 conference record. Penn State, Maryland and Michigan finished in a three-way tie for second place with the same records. Maryland took the second seed with wins over Ohio State and Penn State and the Nittany Lions secured the third seed with its win over Michigan.

Johns Hopkins concluded the regular season 0-5 in the conference to fall to the last seed. The two teams squared off just two weeks prior, the Nittany Lions came away with a 10-4 win. The Blue Jays own three wins over Penn State in the conference tournament, with PSU winning one.
