2025 Big Ten Championship Results
BALTIMORE – The Penn State men’s golf team wrapped up the three-day 2025 Big Ten Championships Sunday afternoon at the Baltimore Country Club.
The Nittany Lions placed 16th in the 18-team field, finishing the 54-hole event at 43-over, 883. Penn State fired its strongest round in the opening round, shooting a 9-over, 289, Friday. The Nittany Lions carded an 11-over, 291, Saturday before shooting a 23-over, 883, in Sunday’s final round.
Jake Griffin (70-73-75) and Alex Creamean (71-73-74) both tied for 32nd to lead the Nittany Lions. Griffin has now been Penn State’s highest finisher or tied for highest finisher at the Big Ten Championships three times during his career.
Andres Barraza (74-72-77) finished 65th at 13-over, 223. His second-round 72 was Penn State’s lowest scoring round Saturday.
Will Preston (74-73-77) came in at 14-over, 224, to place 72nd in his first collegiate championship event. Morgan Lofland (75-73-81) rounded out the Nittany Lions in 83rd place at 19-over, 229.
