UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Inside Lacrosse announces 2025 All-Americans with four Nittany Lions on the list. Hunter Aquino highlights the group, securing second team honors while Matt Traynor, Alex Ross and Kevin Parnham earn honorable mention. The same squad also garnered USA Lacrosse All-American honors as announced by the organization last week.
Freshman standout Aquino is tabbed a second team All-American, continuing his regular success into the postseason as the Nittany Lions advance through the NCAA Tournament. After collecting six Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, a new program record, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Aquino has totaled 14 goals and 15 assists so far this season, posting 10 multi-point outings including a season best seven at Yale.
Traynor has compiled a slew of awards so far throughout his senior campaign including Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, first team All-Big Ten, Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American and Tewaaraton Top 25 Nominee. The senior captain has produced 36 goals and 16 assists, including nine games scoring two-or-more goals.
Parnham’s defensive performance throughout the 2025 campaign landed him on the honorable mention team. He leads the team in caused turnovers, totaling 29 on the season. He had a career outing in Penn State’s NCAA Tournament first round game, posting four caused turnovers and six ground balls. He helped lead Penn State to break a program record in single game caused turnovers in the NCAA Tournament. The senior captain found himself on the Inside Midseason All-American list as well as USA Lacrosse All-American slate.
Ross rounds out the group of Penn State Inside Lacrosse All-Americans. He has been a major contributor on the PSU defense throughout the season. He notched his first career goal in the Nittany Lions’ signature win over Cornell earlier in the season. The junior defender has compiled 27 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers as Penn State continues through the NCAA Tournament.
