Served as four-time captain at Lakewood Ranch High School under the coaching of Maureen Reid...Holds school records in the 200 free, 500 free as well as the 200 free relay and 400 free relay...Two-time USA Swimming High School Scholastic All-American and a NISCA/Speedo All-American in the 500 freestyle...Four-year letterwinner in swimming...Swam for the Sarasota YMCA Sharks club coached by Steve Brown...2009 National YMCA Champion in the short course 1,000 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle...Finished third in the 500 freestyle at YMCA Nationals...Member of the Junior National and National Team for the YMCA Sharks and a two-time finalist in both the 1,000 and 1,650 free.
