High School: Swam for four years at B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester, Pa....Also played lacrosse for three years....Helped lead his team to a four-year dual meet record of 43-6, including an undefeated mark of 13-0 as a junior and 11-0 as a senior....Team won three straight league championships and had a 25-meet winning streak....Team won the tri-county championship as a sophomore and junior and won the Chesmont championship as a senior....Placed sixth in the 100 butterfly at districts as a freshman as the team was a tri-county runner-up....Finished 10th at districts in both the 100 freestyle and 100 fly as a sophomore....Finished third in at districts in the 200 IM as both a junior and senior as the team was the district runner-up in both years.
Personal: Ken was born on June 8, 1989 in West Chester, Pa....He is the son of Ken and Chris McCormick and both of his parents work in education....Has two younger brothers, David (15) and Thomas (11)....Intends to major in secondary education with a concentration in history and would like to become a teacher for a career....Lists swimming as his hobby.
