2012-2013 SEASON - STUDENT ASSISTANT: Sertic continues her role with the Nittany Lions tennis program as a student assistant for the 2012-2013 season. She will assist the team under head coach Dawna Denny and assistant coach Mike Fenwick. Sertic is set to graduate from Penn State in the spring of 2013.
2011-12 SEASON - SENIOR: Went 13-9 in singles play in her first season with the Nittany Lions ... Went on two four-match win streaks during the season ... Seven of her victories came over opponents on ranked teams ... Tallied eight doubles wins ... Teamed with Marie-Frederique Bedard to down Kia Broomfield and Karlyn Timko, 8-5, of No. 65 Marshall and Julianne Gruber and Katarina Lingl, 9-7, of No. 50 Michigan State ... Named a Sportsmanship Honoree during the Big Ten banquet.
FALL 2011: Notched a 12-11 combined singles and doubles record ... Totaled four singles victories ... Went 2-1 at the Cissie Leary Invitational ... Earned a 8-5 doubles record, including going 7-3 with partner Petra Januskova ... Finished second at the Cissie Leary Invitational with Januskova as her doubles partner ... Upset No. 48 Li Xi and Maria Fuccillo of Virginia, 8-4, at the ITA Regional with Januskova as her partner.
2008-11 SEASONS (at Kansas State): Amassed 32 singles wins and 37 doubles victories in three seasons ... Tallied a career-high 14 wins in singles play, including four wins in Big 12 action as a junior ... Notched a career-best 18 doubles victories playing primarily in the first doubles slot with four different partners during the 2010-11 season.
JUNIOR CAREER: Won the singles title at the Orange Bowl under-16 tournament ... Semifinalist in the singles draw at the ETA 16 in Cakovec ... Semifinalist in the singles draw and a finalist in doubles play in the ETA 16 at Salzburg.
