UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State baseball’s weekend series opener against Maryland has been adjusted to begin with a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, May 2 due to forecasted weather. Both games will be broadcast on B1G+.
Friday’s game is now Backyard Baseball Day, celebrating the return of the popular video game.
The final game of the series will be played on Saturday or Sunday in the best time frame. Please check GoPSUSports.com and @pennstatebase on X for updates.
All home games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park are free admission for all ages.
Penn State, led by head coach Mike Gambino, is 26-17 this season (12-12 Big Ten) after a 14-4, run-rule victory over Rider on Wednesday. Nate Voss drove in five runs, while Bryce Molinaro and Ryan Weingartner homered.
