UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State track and field teams head to Princeton for their final regular-season road meet of the outdoor season Friday and Saturday when the Nittany Lions compete in the Larry Ellis Open.

The Nittany Lions set seven top-10 program marks during the 129th-annual Penn Relays last weekend in Philadelphia.
The women’s distance medley relay team of Zoey Goldstein, Maddie Ullom, Kileigh Kane and Allison Johnson ran a school-record time of 10:55.31.
Jake Allen won the men’s 1,500-meter race, using a late kick to finish at a personal-record time of 3:43.16. Sarah Pickering impressed in the women’s 1,500-meter with a personal-record mark of 4:18.92.
Both men’s and women’s teams dominated the hammer throw. Gabi Deglau won the hammer throw on the women’s side, setting a new PR (56.42m, 185-1) while Nathan Williams placed third (65.99m, 216-6) and Collin Burkhart placed seventh (62.09m, 203-8) for the men.
The men’s 4x400-meter relay group of Josh Stolarski, James Onwuka, Jake Palermo and Matt Dematteo recorded the sixth-fastest time in program history at 3:05.89.
Both Meredith Baham and Gabriella Recce tied for No. 6 all-time in women’s pole vault. Baham recorded a 4.11m (13-5 ¾) mark on day two in a second-place finish, while Recce recorded the same mark during day three.
The men’s 4x800 championship team of Darius Smallwood, Allon Clay, Olivier Desmeules and Handal Roban recorded a 7:15.11 to secure the No. 6 spot in program history.
Isaac Osifo collected the fourth-best high jump in Penn State history with a 2.20 (7-2 ½) leap to tie with Ryan Fritz (2007) for No. 4 all-time.
Dylan Lambrecht’s 18.83m (61-9 ½) mark in shot put put him at No. 10 on the all-time list.

The Nittany Lions will close out the away portion of their outdoor regular-season at the Larry Ellis Open beginning on May 2-3.
