Was an eight-time Virginia State Champion at the Collegiate School…She earned state titles in indoor and outdoor shot put and discus in 2023, repeating all of her titles from the 2022 season, in addition to her 2021 championships in the indoor and outdoor shot put…Earned three All-American nods, two from USATF Youth Nationals (hammer, discus) and one from Adidas Indoor Nationals (weight)…Six-time All-Metro league (3x shot, 3x discus).
PERSONAL
Daughter of Eric and Maggie Deglau…Has two siblings: Ellie (sister) and Gilbert (brother)…Father, Eric, swam at UVA…Sister, Ellie, swam at the United States Naval Academy and brother, Gilbert, plays football at Davidson…Cousins Steve Smith and Dylan Saulsberry attended Penn State…In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, climbing, and lifting…Majoring in kinesiology…Chose to attend Penn State because “I wanted a good balance of competitive academics and athletics. I love the campus and the town of State College.”
