The Penn State Athletics Compliance Office strives to serve over 800 Penn State student-athletes, over 300 department staff members, and the millions of Penn State supporters in our goal of being fully compliant with all NCAA, CSC, conference, and University rules and regulations. The Penn State Athletics Compliance Office is here are a resource for anyone in the Penn State community that may need help understanding the complex landscape of intercollegiate athletics regulations.

Mission Statement

To ensure that the Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics program operates in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA, CSC, conference, and The Pennsylvania State University. The Athletics Compliance Office is committed to educating every member within Penn State Athletics of the rules and regulations to prevent even the most minor infractions. The Athletics Compliance Office also supports all efforts to monitor and enforce the rules that govern the Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics program.

To report potential violations, anyone may refer those to the Penn State Athletics Compliance Office or via the Penn State Office of Ethics and Compliance Hotline.

Guide to NCAA Rules and Regulations for Alumni, Fans and Boosters

The Penn State Athletics Compliance Office understands that, in a changing landscape of collegiate athletics, agents and advisors play a significant role in a student-athlete’s collegiate career and beyond. Under Penn State policy, all agents and advisors with whom student-athletes have a relationship related to their athletic ability or for use of their name, image, or likeness shall register with the Penn State Athletics Compliance Office on an annual basis. Additionally, all agents that negotiate or otherwise represent athletes within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania must be in active registration with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.
