Parking & Traffic FAQs

 

Day of game lots open at 8 a.m. for non-noon games, and 7 a.m. for noon games.

ORV Operating Hours:  

  • Thursdays before home games: 6 p.m. – midnight
  • Fridays before home games: 6 a.m. – midnight
  • Saturday Game Days: either 7 a.m. (for noon games) or 8 a.m. (for all other game times)
  • Sundays after home games: must leave all lots by noon

One-way traffic patterns will begin 2.5 hours prior to kickoff for all games.

For example:

    • noon kick: the one-way pattern will begin at 9:30 a.m.;
    • 3:30 p.m. kick: the one-way pattern will begin at 1 p.m.;
    • 6 p.m. kick: the one-way pattern will begin at 3:30 p.m.;
    • 8 p.m. kick: the one-way pattern will begin at 5:30 p.m.

 

Yes, fans will be required to park in their assigned parking lot for all seven home games.

Yes, when one-way traffic patterns in effect, all fans must enter and exit the zone via the established route in accordance with their permit. View parking map here.

 

No, you will need to park in your assigned lot.

 

No, you will need to park in your assigned lot and parking is not exchangeable.

 

Traffic attendants will be on hand for postgame outbound traffic.

 

You will be redirected to the appropriate zone by traffic personnel, prior to entering the five primary routes in the stadium traffic pattern.

 

Traffic personnel will direct you to Lot 25 or Lot 36, if space is available, to purchase game day parking.

 

Permits will not be exchanged.

 

Foul weather parking plans will be communicated in advance via www.gopsusports.com/gameday, Penn State Athletics social media accounts (@beaver_stadium on X), as well as by signing up for notifications in the official Penn State Athletics app.

 

East Deck will accept season and single-game ADA permits. General parking permits for one of the assigned lots will not be accepted in the East Deck.

Tailgating in East Deck is prohibited.

 

The Family Friendly lot will be accessed from University Drive northbound, turn west onto Hastings Road. and the lot is on the right. Family Friendly will be a paved lot within walking distance to Beaver Stadium. There will not be an accompanying general permit so if you have season Family Friendly parking, this is the only lot where you will be permitted to park with your Family Friendly permit.

 

For day of game parking passes, follow the E Zone signage until you get to Park Ave., then follow signage for day of game parking sales. You can purchase parking on game day in Lot 25 or Lot 36, based on availability. 

 

Fans who are not football season ticket holders can purchase parking on a single-game basis, subject to availability. Pre-purchased single-game general parking permits can be purchased here. Game day parking can be purchased at Lot 25 or Lot 36 and is subject to availability.

 

As in previous years, fans desiring to park in close proximity in the same assigned lot should meet off campus and coordinate travel to arrive at the same time.

 

Fans must have 2024 football season tickets to be eligible to purchase new general season parking.

Season ADA parking permits in the West zone are sold out. Single-game ADA sales will be issued for the East Deck. Complimentary game day shuttles to Beaver Stadium will be available from the East Deck. Please note that tailgating is NOT permitted in the East Deck.

General parking permits cannot be exchanged for an ADA permit.

Fans who have an ADA permit, but do not have an ADA placard can park in the East Deck with their ADA permit for no additional charge. ADA permits without a placard can only be redeemed at the East Deck. Reminder – tailgating is not permitted in East Deck. This permit cannot be redeemed at any other lot.

 

Exchanges are not permitted.

These fans will be directed to park in the East Deck, where they can purchase an ADA permit, subject to availability.
