Shawn Mayer, FS
On Antwaan Randle El-
"We had to get used to what he was doing. He is a tough quarterback all around. Once we got used to him, we made all the right adjustments."
On bouncing back from the loss-
"We had a good week of practice. We knew we had to stay on track. We knew we'd bounce back once we did this."
Dave Benfatti, OLB
On Antwaan Randle El-
"Everything about him was fast. He is an amazing quarterback, but I think that our defense did a great job containing him."
On Matt Senneca-
"He was outstanding. He showed everyone today that he was good, and he could come through in the time of need."
Yaacov Yisrael, Hero
On Antwaan Randle El-
"As a defense you have to be disciplined, especially in the secondary. You have to be on your toes, and try to keep him under control."
"I think it was a long game. Guys were starting to get tired. We had to step it up a level. I think it was our confidence that got us over the hump."
Ron Graham, OLB
On the Penn State seniors-
"Today was an emotional day for all of us. Just before the game, myself and the other seniors were reminiscing about the past and how time flies."
"In each game, each of us has built more and more confidence. With all of that confidence, I think that we knew we can win today and keep our bowl hopes alive."

Michael Haynes, DE
On Antwaan Randle El-
"He was just as fast as we thought he would be. Somehow each one of us on defense knew we would have to be a split second faster. After we were done being in awe, we finally realized that we could contain him."
"We had to thank our coaches for adjusting us well. They came up and made the clutch calls when needed. We had to thank our secondary too. When we couldn't hang on to our lanes, they came up and made the big plays."
Bryan Scott, CB
On Antwaan Randle El-
"He's great. He's so quick and shifty. In the second half, we just executed more against him. We never completely stopped the option, we just did enough to contain it."
"We prepared for him (Randle El) on film, but of course it's different during the actual game. The first few plays, we were shocked at how quick and how many moves he had."
On Matt Senneca-
"He knew we were all behind him today. He just came out and produced."
Jimi Mitchell, S
"There's really no defense that we could line up into to stop the option. It's just through the hard work of the players, and working as a team, that we were able to shut it down."
Mick Blosser, FB
"Being the last game in Beaver Stadium for myself and the seniors, it was real emotional. To have the team come together and really play well gives me a great feeling."
John Gilmore, TE
On Antwaan Randle El-
"I had a fun time standing on the sidelines and watching him run around. I knew our defense would eventually stop him. It seemed like he never got tired."
"We were talking about leaving everything on the field for our last home game, and we did. I'm exhausted right now, and I can't imagine how our defense feels."
Larry Johnson, Defensive Line Coach
On Tyler Valoczki's performance:
"Tyler has made tremendous strides. We moved him from tackle to nose guard. He's felt much better playing closer to the ball. He made a great play today. He is a tireless worker. He knows how to play hard and play fair. Everything that you look for."
On Antwaan Randel El:
"We couldn't simulate the speed of Randel El. The first half was our adjustment to the speed for the first time. The second half, we caught up with caught the speed of Randel El. He's really tough and a tremendous athlete."
On sons Tony and Larry Johnson's performances:
"We are really blessed. It was one of the greatest moments of my life - mine and my wife's. I'm still a coach but inside, I'm a father and I think, 'boy, this is a really special day for me.'"
Tony Johnson, WR
On his performance today:
"This is definitely one of the best games of my career so far."
On Matt Senneca's performance:
"Matt played well. We knew that he could do it. I am glad that he came out and silenced his critics. Today he went out and proved them wrong."
On offensive chemistry:
"Everyone was on the same page and that's what you need to do to win ball games."
Larry Johnson, TB
On his performance:
"Out of all the plays, there wouldn't be any scoring if it wasn't for the O-line and the receivers. All the plays I scored on were great blocks set up by linemen and receivers and all I had to do was make them [Indiana] make one or two mistakes."
On 97-yard play and Matt Senneca's confidence:
"After an effort like that, it gets your emotions and your spirits up and you think that you can do anything. If you can come back from 97 yards, you feel like you can do it from 50 or 40 yards."
On his and Tony Johnson's performance:
"It is kind of sweet. We still battle it out. He makes a good play and I think, 'he's going to get the game ball. What can I do to out-do him?' It's good for us to go out there like kids again and play on a major field like Penn State and do the things we know how to do well."
Bruce Branch, CB
"The emotions are real high. We felt like we should have won last week. Coach Paterno just told us to go out and play hard this week. It's my last game and a couple of other guys' last game and he just said to put it all out on the field."
