HANOVER, N.H.; October 21, 2006?C The Nittany Lions continued play today at the ITA Regional Tennis Tournament at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
Sophomore Lauren Holzberg (Easton, Conn.) and senior Sasha Abraham (Hyderabad, India) battled hard in the first round of the main doubles draw. However, the pair came up short against Princeton??s Melissa Saiontz and Ivana King by an 8-6 margin.
Singles action will resume tomorrow with Abraham and Holzberg competing in the second round of the singles tournament. Abraham will play at 11:30 a.m., while Holzberg will begin at 3:30 p.m.
