UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; April 9, 2007 ?? THINK PINK Day gained national exposure as it was featured in the NCAA Women??s Final Four game program. The full-page article featured several photos from the day, including shots of sophomore post Rashida Mark (Brooklyn, N.Y.), the Pride of the Lions Pep Band and the members of The Other Lady Lions (TOLL).

The first annual Lady Lion THINK PINK Day presented by the Barash Group raised $20,490.95 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. More than 8,800 pink-clad fans witnessed the Lady Lions post a 70-61 win over the Wisconsin Badgers on Feb. 4. The official THINK PINK Day t-shirts sold by the PSU Bookstore raised $8,465 for the Komen Foundation. The post-game jersey auction brought in $4,620, while the in-game silent action raised $4,270. The Stomp Out Cancer Shoe was also successful as it accumulated $525.95 in donations.
