UNIVERSITY PARK, PA., July 19, 2007 -- Season ticket holders for Nittany Lion basketball are now able to renew their season tickets and request a seat change. Season ticket renewal forms were mailed to 2006-07 seat holders the first week in July.
The Nittany Lions will play 17 games in front of the Bryce Jordan Center fans, including a Big Ten/ACC Challenge match-up with Virginia Tech on Nov. 28 that will be carried live on ESPN2 and a clash with Seton Hall on Dec. 8. With the Big Ten returning to an 18-game schedule for 2007-08, Penn State will also face nine Big Ten opponents at home. Adult season tickets are $220, senior/faculty and staff season tickets are $190, youth season tickets are $90 and Penn State student season passes are $59.
Season ticket holders will receive several benefits, including second chance giveaways, the first opportunity to buy post-season tickets (not including the Big Ten Tournament) and 16 ticket vouchers that can be used for any of Penn State's non-conference home games. Details on additional season ticket holder benefits will be announced in the coming weeks.
All-Big Ten honorees Geary Claxton and Jamelle Cornley will be among four starters that return for Penn State for the 2007-08 season. The Nittany Lions also return their top three scorers, rebounders and field goal percentage leaders from 2006-07 and will add to the mix six exciting new players, including top 100 ranked recruits Talor Battle (Albany, N.Y) and Jeff Brooks (Louisville, Ky.).
The full Nittany Lion schedule will be released in August.
