Penn State's Rohanna Ties For 11th At The Northeast Amateur

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State senior Robert Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa.), posted a final round 73 to finish tied for 11th at the prestigious Northeast Amateur played at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, R.I.

The four-day tournament was played amidst heavy winds on fast greens at the par-69 Donald Ross designed course. Just one player finished below par in the strong national field that included 14 of the top 20 players in the Golfweek/Titleist Men's Amateur Rankings. Dustin Johnson of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. posted a 1-under par 275 (64-69-72-70) to capture the trophy.

Rohanna posted 4-over 280 (72-67-68-73) to finish in a four-way tie for 11th.
