UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; August 1, 2007 - Senior golfer Christin Pacacha was one of the 368 women nationwide selected to the recently released 2006-2007 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Team.
Pacacha, who is majoring in communications, met the requirements of holding at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and competing in at least 50% of the tournaments this year.
The only Nittany Lion to be selected, Pacacha was part of the starting lineup in all ten tournaments during the 2006-07 season with a stroke average of 80.9. Her top finish was at the Nittany Lion Invitational where she placed ninth. Now entering her senior year, Pacacha looks to lead the Lions to a successful 2007-08 season.
