UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State women's basketball team announced the launch of LadyLions.com, a website dedicated exclusively to women's basketball at Penn State.
"LadyLions.com is a very fun and interactive way for potential recruits and fans to get to know our players and our program," Penn State head coach Coquese Washington said. "We are very excited about the avenues that this website will open up for the Lady Lion basketball program."
The website gives the Lady Lions a chance to showcase the Penn State women's basketball program to potential recruits and fans. Some of the features of LadyLions.com are player videos, feature videos and a special "Talkin' Hoops with Coquese" section. The website also has extensive information on the team, facilities and the university.
The website was designed by Blue Banana Designs of State College.
The Lady Lions open the 2007-08 season as they host the WBCA/Basketball Travelers Classic at the Bryce Jordan Center November 9-11. Penn State will face Arizona on Nov. 9, before meeting Charlotte (Nov. 10) and in-state rival Pittsburgh (Nov. 11).
