UNIVERISTY PARK, Pa. - Starting Tuesday, Sept. 4, Penn State women's soccer head coach Erica Walsh's weekly podcast will debut on GoPSUsports.com. From then through the remainder of the Nittany Lions' 2007 season, check back weekly each Monday to hear Walsh's impressions of the previous week's action as well as get a look into the next week.

After head coaching stints at Harvard and Dartmouth and significant time spent coaching in the U.S. Youth National Team program, Walsh assumed control of the Nittany Lion program in February. Now carrying a career record 41-29-3 after the opening weekend, she is the third head coach in Penn State's history. A 1997 William & Mary grad, she has met success at every junction of her career and is poised to continue and enhance the Nittany Lions' grand tradition.
The No. 15 Nittany Lions travel to No. 17 Connecticut for the first Fox Soccer Channel NSCAA Collegiate Match of the Week this year on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. Penn State then makes its way to No. 23 West Virginia on Sunday, Sept. 9 for a 1 p.m. kick-off.
The Penn State Invitational will be held at Jeffrey Field on Sept. 14 and 16. Action starts when West Virginia meets No. 3 Texas A&M at 5 p.m. Later that night, the Nittany Lions take to the field at 7:30 p.m. vs. James Madison. On Sunday, Sept. 16, No. 3 meets No. 15 as Penn State hosts seventh-ranked Texas A&M in a Top 25 battle starting at 1 p.m. that will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
