UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The newly-named Washington's Whoopsters kids club will hold their annual Preseason Pizza Party with the Lady Lions at the Bryce Jordan Center on Monday, October 29 at 6 p.m. The event is only open to members of Washington's Whoopsters kids club and attendees are asked to enter the Jordan Center through Gate B.
The Whoopsters will have the opportunity to warm-up for opening night by checking in at the registration table, sitting in the Whoopsters' section, lining up for high fives with the Lady Lions and cheering the Lady Lions as they come onto the floor.
Washington's Whoopsters is open to children in grades 1-8. Club membership includes admission to all regular-season home games, a kids club t-shirt, a chance to be the "Star of the Game" or "Kid on the Bench" during the season, a preseason pizza party, a basketball clinic with the Lady Lions, monthly newsletters, gameday giveaways to the first 200 kids and an official Think Pink Day t-shirt.

The Lady Lions open the 2007-08 season with an exhibition game against Millersville on Oct. 31 and then host the WBCA/Basketball Travelers Classic at the Bryce Jordan Center November 9-11. Penn State will face Arizona on Nov. 9, before meeting Charlotte (Nov. 10) and in-state rival Pittsburgh (Nov. 11).
This season, Penn State introduces a new seven-game Lady Lion Flex Plan package where fans will receive a ticket to the Duke (Sun., Dec. 2) and Georgetown (Sun., Dec. 9) games and the second annual THINK PINK Day versus Iowa (Sun., Feb. 10), as well as four flex vouchers to redeem in any ticket combination for Big Ten games.
