UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., - Nittany Lion football fans can begin gearing up for the 2007 Valero Alamo Bowl with the Penn State Football Story Alamo Bowl Special presented by Rockvale Outlets Lancaster, which debuts on Saturday, Dec. 22 throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Produced by the creators of The Penn State Football Story, the 60-minute program will preview Penn State's Alamo Bowl clash with Texas A&M and include features, highlights and comments from the Nittany Lions. Junior wide receiver Deon Butler (Woodbridge, Va.) is the host and he interviewed Coach Joe Paterno and several teammates for the program, which also will include an analysis of the Aggies and the match-ups by Steve Jones and the Nittany Lions' plays of the year.
The Valero Alamo Bowl is Saturday, Dec. 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT at The Alamodome in San Antonio and air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com, the official website of Penn State Athletics.
The Penn State Football Story Alamo Bowl Special presented by the Rockvale Outlets Lancaster will debut on Saturday on YES Network (12:00 p.m.) in metropolitan New York City, Comast SportsNet Philadelphia (2:00 p.m.) and WHTM-TV (7:00 p.m.) in the Harrisburg-Lancaster-York market. There will be multiple airings of the program on YES and CSN-Philadelphia, as well as MASN in Baltimore-Washington, D.C., including Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
In central Pennsylvania, Penn State fans will be able to watch the program on several outlets, in addition to WHTM. The show will air on WPSU-TV (Dec. 27, 9:00 p.m.), FSN Pittsburgh (Dec. 28, 8:00 p.m.), WNEP-TV (Dec. 29, 1:00 p.m.) and WTAJ-TV (Dec. 29, 7:00 p.m.).
Also, on Friday, Dec. 21, the Nittany Lion Hotline Alamo Bowl Special - Presented by AIG Auto Insurance will air on most Penn State Sports Network affiliates that carry the Nittany Lion Hotline. The call-in program will air from 6:05-7:00 p.m. and feature the Penn State football broadcast team of Steve Jones and Jack Ham and interviews with members of the squad.

Penn State (8-4) will face Texas A&M (7-5) in the 2007 Valero Alamo Bowl. The Nittany Lions will be playing in their second Alamo Bowl, defeating the Aggies 24-09 in 1999, and 34th bowl game under Paterno, who is the all-time leader in bowl appearances and wins (22-10-1 record).
