UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - There are only three more days left in the Big Ten's $45 for 45 Days Women's Basketball Tournament presented by Xbox 360 ticket promotion. The promotion, which ends on Monday, Jan. 7, allows fans to purchase Big?Ten Women's Basketball Tournament all-session tickets for just $45 (regular price is $65). Contact the Penn State ticket office (814-865-5555) to obtain Big?Ten Women's Basketball Tournament tickets.
This promotion is to provide a discount for those fans that purchase all-session tickets early. It's also part of a larger tournament promotion to help increase ticket sales. Specifically, the goal is for each institution to double its tournament ticket sales and the ISC/Big Ten to double local general public sales.
The 14th annual women's event returns to Indianapolis and Conseco Fieldhouse March 6-9, 2008. Indianapolis has staged 12 of the 13 previous women's tournaments. The 2008 tournament features all 11 Big Ten teams in action, competing in 10 games over four days to crown the 2008 champion and earn the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. For the first time since 2001, the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will be played on four consecutive days with games scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Big Ten Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments will call the city of Indianapolis and Conseco Fieldhouse home from 2008 through 2012 in an agreement reached in June of 2006.
Single-session tickets will go on sale in February.
The Lady Lions travel to Michigan State on Saturday, Jan. 5 for a nationally televised game on CBS at noon before returning to the Jordan Center to face Northwestern on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The second annual THINK PINK Day is slated for Sunday, Feb. 10 versus Iowa at noon.
