The 14th-ranked Penn State women's gymnastics team returns to Rec Hall to host West Virginia at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2. The meet will be a double-dual with the defending national champion Nittany Lion men's gymnastics team, who will be competing against No. 8 Minnesota. The Series: Penn State vs. West Virginia
Penn State leads West Virginia, 26-4, in a series that began in 1979. The last meeting was a 195.625-194.625 Nittany Lion victory on Feb. 3, 2007 in Morgantown, W.V. The last meeting at Rec Hall was a 194.400-190.675 Penn State win on Jan. 21, 2006. The Nittany Lions have claimed the last five meetings in series history.
