Athens, Ga. - A total of eight divers, four from the men's team and four from the women's team, competed at the Georgia Diving Invitational from Thursday-Saturday. Seven of the eight divers competed on both the one and three-meter springboards against a field of some of the top divers in the country. No team scores were kept at the diving-only meet.
In the women's one-meter springboard, Courtney Adlam finished 24th in the prelims with a score of 202.80. Liz Marasco and Megan Marco finished right next to each other with scores of 159.40 and 158.30, respectively. Ilana Zeises rounded out the quartet with a score of 102.75.
Adlam improved to 18th on the three-meter springboard, logging a score of 232.20. Zeises scored a 182.05 while Marasco came in just behind Zeises at 179.30. Marco rounded out the Penn State foursome at 164.30.
For the men's team, Justin Bonner led the way on the one-meter board, finishing 19th at 251.85. Max Levi finished with a score of 192.30. Josh Bonner and Pat Bukowski finished right next to each other with scores of 169.15 and 159.90, respectively.

On the three-meter board for the men, the Bonner twins finished less than a point of each other, with Josh placing 26th with 236.10 and Justin placing 27th with 235.15. Bukowski came in with a score of 153.35. Levi did not dive off the three-meter board.
Penn State's divers did not compete in the platform diving portion of the meet. The Nittany Lion divers will rejoin the swimming teams in two weekends when the teams travel to Pittsburgh for a five-team, two-day meet.
