The Nittany Lions will play their final road Big Ten series of the season as they head to Columbus, Ohio for a clash with the Buckeyes. The two teams will battle in a doubleheader beginning at noon on Buckeye Field. PSU will head out on the road two more times including trips to Kent State University and the University of Akron on April 23 and April 30, respectively.
Series History
This will be the 61st and 62nd meetings between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes. The series began back in 1975 and has been a back-and-forth battle throughout. Ohio State currently holds the advantage with a 35-25 record against the Nittany Lions. PSU has lost seven of the last 10 meetings including four-straight losses going into Sunday. The Nittany Lions last win in Columbus came in the 2003 season as PSU split with the Buckeyes, 1-4 and 6-2.
