U.S. Women's National Team
Walsh just returned to University Park, Pa. following a convincing 6-0 victory over Canada last Saturday (May 10). An assistant coach, Walsh has helped lead the team to a 13-0-1 record in 2008 as they prepare for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Walsh and the team, who have been on the road since April 21, will now go on a short break from practice and competition and will regroup in Los Angeles, Calif. on May 19 for a two-week training camp at the Home Depot Center.

Canadian Women's National Team
Freshman Lexi Marton (Aurora, Ontario) has been training with the Canadian National Team but was not dressed for the 6-0 loss to the U.S. team coached by Walsh. Marton earned her first senior team international cap on March 8 against Japan at the Cyprus Cup Tournament in Larnaca, Cyprus. She was also helped the team finish second in the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualification Tournament which earned Canada a berth to the Beijing Olympics. She has played in five more contests with the Senior National Team since March.

U.S. U-20 Women's National Team
Junior Alyssa Naeher (Seymour, Conn.) and freshman Christine Nairn (Bowie, Md.) both headed to camp on Monday (May 12) in Clemson, S.C. Head coach Tony DiCicco of the U-20 Women's National Team is holding a two-week training camp from May 12-27 to prepare the team for CONCACAF Qualifying in June. Only 26 players were invited to the camp including Naeher and Nairn. The team has scheduled a May 22 match-up against the USL W-League Atlanta Silverbacks and plans on several other scrimmages throughout the two-week camp.
