Kerry Shea

For senior Jessi Lieb, the IWLCA All-Region honor is the her third consecutive and comes just weeks after she became just the second Nittany Lion to be named First Team All-ALC in three straight years. A Tewaaraton Trophy Preseason Watch List selection prior to each of the last three seasons, Lieb provided Penn State with a dominating presence on both the offensive and defensive ends. Equally adept at scoring goals and stopping an opponent's top offensive weapon, she led the Nittany Lions in goals (25), assists (9), points (34), and ground balls (32) in 2008. Lieb, a member of the U.S. Women's Lacrosse Elite Team, finished her brilliant collegiate career with 107 goals, 34 assists, 144 points, 140 draw controls, 148 ground balls, and 66 caused turnovers.

The second team regional honor for Kerry Shea is her second consecutive and comes on the heels of the junior's second straight Second Team All-ALC selection. A speedy and aggressive midfielder, she ranked second on the team in goals (23) and points (29) and fourth in ground balls (17) and draw controls (18). Coming to Penn State as a highly touted prospect in 2006, Shea has fulfilled that promise, totaling 60 goals and 14 assists in 41 career games.
