Lady Lion/Edie Hall Cancer Walk Form
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State women's basketball team will be participating in the 11th annual Lady Lion/Edie Hall Cancer Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, October 11 at 12:30 p.m. at the Multi-Sport Facility at Penn State. Each year the Lady Lions participate in the event, which raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
The public is welcome to walk with the Lady Lions and assist in the fundraising effort. Anyone wishing to raise money for the event can download a pledge form on www.GoPSUsports.com or by contacting the Lady Lion Basketball office (814-863-2672).
A Potluck meal will follow the event at 2:30 p.m. Anyone attending the Potluck meal should bring a covered dish to share.

The Lady Lions being the 2008-09 campaign with an exhibition game against California (Pa.) on Sun., Nov. 9, before opening the 2008-09 regular-season campaign with a three-game homestand against South Carolina (Sun., Nov. 16), Stony Brook (Wed., Nov. 19) and Prairie View A&M (Fri., Nov. 21). Penn State will also participate in the Third Annual Maggie Dixon Classic at Madison Square Garden on Sun., Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. where it will face perennial national contender Connecticut, a game that will be televised on ESPNU.
