Tulsa, Okla. - Senior Brendan Lynch (North Potomac, Md.) was defeated by Ohio State's Balazs Novak on Monday in the qualifying round of the D'Novo/ITA All-American Championships (6-4, 6-1).

The Nittany Lion senior is 62-23 all-time in his stellar career. He ranks second behind Adam Slagter (63) in singles wins among active players.

The Nittany Lions will participate in the ITA Regionals in New Haven, Conn. on Oct. 16-21. Following that, the Big Ten Indoor Championships will take place on Oct. 30-Nov. 3 in Madison, Wis.
