CHILLAN, Chile - Nittany Lion goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher (Waterford, Conn.) and the U.S. U-20 National Team picked up a second win in the World Cup with a 3-0 thumping of Argentina. Naeher was called upon to make three saves in the second match day, two of which were early in the second half.
Earning her first start of the tournament was midfielder Christine Nairn who will join Penn State as a freshman this spring.
The U-20 women will face China PR in the final group match on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. ET, live on ESPNU and at 7 p.m. ET on tape delay on Galavision.
