UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State Nittany Lions Men's Basketball team defeated Bloomsburg 77-51 in exhibition. The Nittany Lions were led by Talor Battle, who scored 17 points while Larry Webster led Bloomsburg with 16 points. Penn State led by as much as 18 points over Bloomsburg with 7:59 left in the first half, but Bloomsburg closed the lead to just 13 points with a halftime score of 37-24.
The Nittany Lions opened up the second half firing and led by as much as 36 points over Bloomsburg with 5:14 to go in the second half. Bloomsburg struggled during the entire game against the Penn State defense that caused 20 turnovers to Penn State's six.
The Nittany Lions begin their season at home Friday, Nov. 14th against William & Mary at 6:30 p.m.
