UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (6-7, 1-2) return to the friendly confines of the Bryce Jordan Center to face off against Michigan (8-5, 1-1) on Sunday at 2 p.m. Fans will receive a rally towel at the gate, while supplies last.

PROMOTIONS: Sunday is another SUBWAY FULL COURT FOUR PACK day where fans can purchase four tickets, four soft drinks at the game and a voucher redeemable for four six inch subs at any State College Subway location for just $40. The Michigan game is also a youth ticket day where fans will receive a free youth ticket with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket. This ticket deal cannot be combined with any other offers. Sunday is also a faculty/staff day where fans that present a valid Penn State Faculty/Staff ID will receive admission for $5. SCOUTING MICHIGAN: The Wolverines are 8-5 on the season and have split their first two conference games this season with a win over Northwestern and a loss to Ohio State. Jessica Minnfield is the lone Wolverine averaging double figures with an 11.4 scoring average. Stephany Skrba accounts for 9.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per outing.

ALL-TIME VS. THE WOLVERINES: The Lady Lions are 22-8 all-time against Michigan, including an 11-2 mark in home games. However, the Wolverines have won three of the last five meetings between the squads. Michigan ended the Lady Lions' season with a 64-54 win over Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament. The teams split the regular-season games last year with each squad winning on their home floor.

LAST TIME VS. UM: The Lady Lions dropped a 64-54 decision to seventh-seeded Michigan in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament at Conseco Fieldhouse. In her final game as a Lady Lion, Kam Gissendanner posted her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Tyra Grant added a game-high 18 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals, while Brianne O'Rourke accounted for 10 tallies and six assists.

LAST TIME OUT: The Penn State Lady Lions jumped out early, but Minnesota used a late first-half run to post a 69-55 victory over the Lady Lions at Williams Arena Thursday. Senior Mashea Williams and junior Tyra Grant led three Lady Lions in double figures with 12 points each. Williams had a career-high three blocked shots to go along with six rebounds and three steals, while Grant added five rebounds in the loss. Senior point guard Brianne O'Rourke accounted for 11 points, three assists and two steals against the Gophers, while Julia Trogele, who left the game briefly in the first half with an ankle injury, chipped in seven points and four rebounds.

SELECT COMPANY: Junior Tyra Grant is one of only three Big Ten players to have scored double figures in every game this season. She joins Illinois' Jenna Smith and Ohio State's Jantel Lavender in the elite group. The trio of players are also the Big Ten's three leading scorers.

O'ROURKE IS 10TH PLAYER WITH 100 THREES: Senior guard Brianne O'Rourke become the 10th player in program history to knock down 100 career three-pointers with one triple against Minnesota on Jan. 1. She is currently 10th on the career chart with 100 makes from beyond the arc.

WILLIAMS REJECTS CAREER HIGH: Senior guard Mashea Williams had a career-high three blocked shots against Minnesota on Jan. 1. Her previous career mark was two rejections against Wisconsin on Feb. 3, 2008.

The Lady Lions continue their homestand against Indiana on Sunday, Jan. 11. The 2009 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State proudly supported by Mimi Barash Coppersmith (formerly known as THINK PINK Day) will take place on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m., as the Lady Lions take on Iowa in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on www.bigtennetwork.com. The first two Pink Zone events have raised more than $50,000 for breast cancer awareness. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Penn State Hershey Breast Cancer Institute, the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
