UNIVERSITY PARK, PA., Jan. 29, 2009 - When the Nittany Lion basketball team returns to the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, Feb. 8 to take on Wisconsin, fans will also be able to enjoy the Philadelphia Phillies World Series Trophy Tour presented by Teva and Comcast.

Doors for the 3:00 p.m. afternoon contest with the Badgers will open 30 minutes early (1:30 p.m.) to allow fans plenty of time to view and take pictures with the trophy on the Jordan Center concourse. The Phillie Phanatic will also make a special appearance. The trophy will remain on the concourse for all to enjoy until the 10-minute mark of the first half.

The game will also be "Coaches vs. Cancer Day" at the Jordan Center with special events and an opportunity for fans to join the fight against cancer, including a silent auction of sports memorabilia on the concourse. It is also a "Subway Full Court 4-Pack" game with fans able to receive four (4) reserved game tickets, a voucher for four (4) soft drinks redeemable at the Jordan Center and a voucher for four (4) 6" inch subs redeemable at any of seven State College area Subway locations all for just $40. The voucher is not valid at the Bryce Jordan Center Subway location.

The 16-5 Nittany Lions, off to their best start in the Big Ten since 1995-96 with a 5-3 conference record, will play at No. 9 Michigan State on Sunday. The Nittany Lions have won three straight Big Ten games for the first time since 2001 and have won nine of their last 10 Big Ten home games, three against ranked foes. Big Ten leading scorer Talor Battle (18.5 ppg) and seniors Jamelle Cornley (15.3 ppg) and Stanley Pringle (14.2 ppg) lead a fast and exciting Nittany Lion attack
