UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.: March 24, 2009 - The Nittany Lion track and field teams have elected to cancel the Jim Thorpe Invitational - scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at Nittany Lion Track - and delay the start of its 2009 outdoor campaign until the Jim Click Shootout at Arizona on April 4. The Jim Thorpe Invitational will not be rescheduled.
