UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Future Penn State Lady Lion Alex Bentley (Indianapolis, Ind.) was selected to the "Parade Magazine" 33rd Annual All-America High School Girls Basketball Team. Bentley, who will don the Blue & White beginning next season, was a third team recipient. Her Parade All-America selection is on the heels of earning a spot on the ESPN HoopGurlz High School Nation Honor Roll late last week.

Bentley led Ben Davis High School to the Indiana State Championship and the top spot in the final USA Today Super 25 poll. Bentley averaged 15.7 points per game in her senior season en route to first team All-State honors. She also finished third in the voting for the Indiana Miss Basketball award.

Joining Bentley in the Lady Lions' Top 20 recruiting class are Nikki Greene (Diboll, Texas), Gizelle Studevent (La Jolla, Calif.) and Marisa Wolfe (Ford City, Pa.). Greene, who was a first team All-State choice, was one of 20 players selected to play in the WBCA High School All-America Game presented by Nike. Studevent (third team) and Wolfe (third team) also garnered All-State accolades.
