Men's Golfer Kevin Foley Named Co- Big Ten Golfer of the Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - Penn State's Kevin Foley (Sommerville, N.J.) and Wisconsin's Dan Woltman were named co-Big Ten Golfers of the Week. Foley and Woltman tied for first at the Boilermaker Invitational this past weekend in West Lafayette, IN.

Foley finished tied for first at the Boilermaker Invitational, claiming his fourth career medalist honor. The All-American carded scores 69-66-72 for a 207, 54-hole total as he guided Penn State to a second-place team finish. The Sommerville, N.J., native collects his first Big Ten Golfer of the Week award.

Receiving the honor with Foley is Wisconsin's Dan Woltman who also claimed his fourth collegiate win at the Boilermaker and his first ever career weekly accolade. The senior posted a 67 on the last 18 holes, erasing a five-stroke deficit to record a three-round total of 207.

Junior T.J. Howe was the last Nittany Lion to claim the weekly honor last month, March 18, 2009.
