UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Persons interested in working at Penn State football games during the 2009 season should attend the Job Fair, Saturday, July 18, at 9 am, at Beaver Stadium.
Informational and training sessions will be held for gate attendants, ushers, parkers, and club and suite staff July 18. All interested new employees should report to the Penn State team entrance of Beaver Stadium on Curtin Road (under the Mt. Nittany Club) behind the south end zone.
New employees and groups will be hired on a season basis. For individuals to expedite the I-9 application process, please bring two forms of identification (for example, driver's license and social security card), a voided check or savings account number/bank routing number; these will be needed before payroll can be processed. Non-profit groups or clubs may also sign up to work. All employees must be at least 16 years of age (work permit may be required). Penn State non-exempt employees can only work as volunteers.
The 2009 eight-game home schedule begins Sept. 5 against Akron with a 12 noon kickoff. Additional information, in advance of the Job Fair, can be obtained by calling 814 863-0270.
