UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Following Sunday's first Fall game, the Penn State baseball team is back in action this weekend with two more intrasquad contests, Friday (Sept. 18) at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday (Sept. 20) at 1 p.m.
Last Friday's Fall opener was canceled due to heavy rain in the area. The Nittany Lions did play their first game on Sunday.
Be sure to come out and support the baseball team at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park as part of an action-packed sports weekend at Penn State. The football team hosts Pennsylvania rival Temple on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Beaver Stadium. Women's volleyball is also at home Saturday, with matches set for 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Then on Sunday, the field hockey squad plays West Chester at 12 p.m. while women's soccer plays host to James Madison at 1 p.m.
