2009-10 Washington's Whoopsters Application
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Washington's Whoopsters kids club had another highly successful last year and with the start of the women's basketball season around the corner, the Penn State Lady Lions have started accepting Whoopsters applications for the 2009-10 season. The club, which had approximately 200 members last season, is open to children in grades K-8.
For just $30, the club membership includes admission to all regular-season home games with exclusive "Whoopsters Only" seating in the endzone nearest to the Lady Lion bench. Members also receive an official Whoopsters kids club t-shirt, a chance to be the "Kid on the Bench" during the season, a preseason pizza party with the Lady Lions, a basketball clinic with the team, monthly newsletters, gameday giveaways to the first 200 kids and an official Whoopsters WBCA Pink Zone Day t-shirt. Whoopster events for the 2009-10 season open on Sunday, Oct. 25 with the annual preseason pizza party with the Lady Lions at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Lady Lion Basketball season tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY or 814-863-1000. Season tickets are $117 for adults, $52 for youth and $91 for seniors. Penn State fans that attend the Indiana football game can use their football ticket to receive buy one ticket, get one free ticket for the Lady Lions' game against NJIT on Sat., Nov. 15.
