UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; -
Penn State students wishing to travel to Michigan State for the Nov. 21 regular season finale against the Spartans can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center Monday starting at 7:00 a.m.
A limited number of tickets will be made available on a first-come, first served basis. Each student will be permitted to purchase one $49 ticket and must present a valid Penn State id+ card to secure a ticket. All sales of all tickets will be done on a cash only basis. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted.
Students wanting to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B of the Jordan Center Monday morning.
Students can arrive at Gate B 90 minutes prior to the beginning of all road game sales.
If the number of students in line at 7:00 a.m. exceeds the number of available tickets, each student will be wrist banded and there will be a random drawing to determine the first number in line. No further wristbands will be issued after 7:00 a.m., and all tickets will then be sold in sequential order, beginning with the randomly selected wristband number. If someone is not present when their wristband number is called, they will forfeit their opportunity to buy.
If tickets still remain after 8:00 a.m. on Monday, the sale will move from Gate B to the Athletic Ticket Office inside the BJC. Student tickets will not be available after 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
The Penn State-Michigan State clash begins at 3:30 p.m. ET in East Lansing. The Nittany Lions lead the series, 13-12-1, winning last year in Beaver Stadium in a battle for the Big Ten Championship. The Nittany Lions and Spartans annually play for the Land Grant Trophy in the regular season finale for both teams.
Penn State has the nation's largest full-season student section in college sports with more than 21,000 season ticket holders for home football games in Beaver Stadium.
Penn State hosts Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 14 for Senior Day. Nineteen Nittany Lion seniors will be introduced before their final home game, which kicks at 12:00 p.m. The game will air on the Big Ten Network, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.
