UNIVERSITY PARK, PA., Dec. 15, 2009 - The highly acclaimed and award winning "Penn State Basketball Story" will debut Wednesday, Dec. 16 in State College and several outlets in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metro market and throughout the week in several markets nationally. The Wednesday show will be the first for the program, which will air weekly throughout the Big Ten season with highlights and features on Nittany Lion basketball.
Wednesday's program will feature a look at the Nittany Lions' non-conference season thus far, including a trip to Charleston for the Charleston Classic, Penn State's third-straight Big Ten/ACC Challenge win at Virginia and a pair of career-high 32-point outings by All-Big Ten point-guard Talor Battle. The first program will air on Wed, Dec. 16 at 11:00 p.m. on WPSU-TV (Channel 3) as well as at 12:30 p.m. on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas. The non-conference show can also be seen Thursday, Dec. 17 at 5:00 p.m. on the Big Ten Network and on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 11:30 a.m. on WTAJ (channel 10) in the State College area. The "Basketball Story" will also air on WFMZ, EHP, CSN-Philadelphia, FSN-Pittsburgh and WNEP throughout Pennsylvania. Check local listing for air times.
The "Penn State Basketball Story," which features an inside look at the Nittany Lions' season, players and coaches, will air eight episodes throughout the Big Ten season appearing Sunday's at 11:00 a.m. on WPSU-TV (channel 3) and at 11:30 a.m. on WTAJ-TV (channel 10) in the State College area.
