The Penn State Lady Lions announced today the launch of the Second Annual WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State Online Auction that will run from Wednesday, Jan. 13 through Wednesday, Feb. 3. There is a variety of memorabilia and experiences available through the Pink Zone online auction, including a timeshare for anywhere in the world, Penn State football experience for the Michigan game and autographed memorabilia.
Funds raised through the online auction will benefit Mount Nittany Medical Center, the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. The Lady Lions will also hold a silent auction on the concourse on Sunday, Jan. 24 as part of the WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State festivities. The Lady Lions will also be auctioning off their game-used Pink Zone uniforms at a live auction following the Jan. 24 game against Ilinois.
The Lady Lions return to the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, Jan. 17 to face Michigan State at 1 p.m. on Autograph Day. The Subway Full Court Four-Pack is available for the Michigan State game. The deal includes four game tickets, four sodas and four vouchers for a 6" Subway sub at any State College location (BJC excluded) for just $40. The 2010 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m., as the Lady Lions take on Illinois in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on www.bigtennetwork.com. The first three Pink Zone events have raised more than $80,000 for breast cancer awareness.
