UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; Jan. 16, 2010 - Nittany Lion basketball fans will have a rare chance to glimpse behind the scenes of the Penn State basketball program Sunday in the second episode of The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2010 on the Big Ten Network.
The episode will debut this Sunday at 6:30 p.m, with repeats Sunday at 9:00 p.m., Monday at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at 10:00 and 11:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 11:00 p.m. The Journey takes fans behind the scenes of the 2010 Big Ten basketball season. In this week's episode, it checks in with Talor Battle of Penn State, Bo Ryan of Wisconsin, Don Fischer, the radio voice of Hoosier basketball, and Michigan basketball's DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris. The Journey offers a unique take on the seasons and the storylines developing across the Big Ten Conference.
The Journey was given unprecedented access to the Nittany Lions for two days leading up to Penn State's heartbreaking 54-53 loss in Champaign on Tuesday. Cameramen and producers from the show followed Battle, Coach Ed DeChellis and the Nittany Lions through practice, film study, shoot-around and meals and was with the team every step of the way from flying on the team's charter to staying at the team hotel and traveling on the team bus to the game. The Journey had access to light moments at shoot-around, pregame talks in the locker room and the climactic team huddle prior to the Lions' last game winning attempt.

Penn State (8-8; 0-4 Big Ten) will look to end a four-game losing skid, its longest in two seasons, when it travel to Iowa (6-11; 0-4 Big Ten) Saturday to take on the Hawkeyes in a 1:00 p.m. (ET) tip on the Big Ten Network.
