UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's volleyball senior opposite Will Price (Gaithersburg, Md.) has been named the first EIVA Player of the Week in 2010, conference officials announced Monday. The honor is sixth of Price's career.
Price guided the No. 6 Nittany Lions to a 3-0 (30-22, 30-20, 30-20) sweep of EIVA foe Saint Francis on Friday, Jan. 15. He put down a match-high 16 kills on a team-best .560 hitting percentage. Price also finished second on the team with two aces and seven digs, while contributing one block.
The Nittany Lions are back on the road on Saturday, Jan. 23 at Springfield. Action is set to begin at 5 p.m. Penn State returns home on Tuesday, Jan. 26 for a match with Juniata at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.
