UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's volleyball team returns home on Tuesday, Jan. 26 for a 7 p.m. matchup with EIVA foe Juniata. Live stats will be available via a link at GoPSUsports.com and the match will be streamed live on BigTenNetwork.com.

Penn State Preview
The Nittany Lions traveled to Springfield, Mass. on Saturday, Jan. 23 where they took on the Springfield College Pride. Penn State secured a 3-0 (33-31, 30-22, 30-26) victory to improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in EIVA play.

The Nittany Lions attacked at a .235 clip, while holding the Pride to .145. PSU averaged 17.00 kills per set, 15.33 assists per set, 2.00 aces per set, 12.67 digs per set and 2.67 blocks per set. Senior Will Price (Gaithersburg, Md.) led the team with 22 kills while recording a .364 attack percentage. Senior Max Lipsitz (Williamsville, N.Y.) finished second on the team with nine kills and a team-high six total blocks. Redshirt sophomore Edgardo Goas (San Juan, Puerto Rico) paced the Lion offense with 38 helpers and had four kills in four errorless attempts. Junior libero Dennis Del Valle (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) tied his career-high with 18 digs.

Penn State vs. Juniata
The Nittany Lions own a perfect 35-0 record against Juniata. The teams first met in 1993 in the season opener with Penn State winning 3-0 (15-3, 15-8, 15-9). Penn State has faced Juniata at least once every year since 1993. Last season the squads met three times, including in the EIVA Championship match. Penn State won the match, 3-0 (30-25, 30-19, 30-21).

Notes on Juniata
Despite opening the 2010 season with a 3-0 setback to Ohio State on Jan. 18, Juniata regrouped and secured a 3-0 sweep of Harvard on Jan. 23. Zach Wanner and Evan Halteman led the Eagles with 10 kills apiece, with Wanner also leading the team with 11 saves. Setter Mike Kraft dished out 33 assists and Halteman had a team-best five total blocks.

What's Next?
The Nittany Lions hit the road for two matches on Jan. 29-30 at Lewis and Loyola-Chicago. The team returns home on Friday, Feb. 5 to kick off six straight matches at home with Rutgers-Newark at 7 p.m., followed by Springfield on Feb. 6 at 4 p.m.
