Hodge, Glass Assist Women's National Team in Scrimmage Win

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State women's volleyball seniors Megan Hodge (Durham, N.C.) and Alisha Glass (Leland, Mich.) aided the U.S. Women's National Team to a win against a professional team from Hong Kong in a friendly scrimmage. The U.S. women are preparing to meeting the Evergrande Volleyball Club in exhibition on Feb. 2 in Guangzhou. The two teams agreed to play to four sets with Team USA winning 25-11, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-6.

Hodge tied with teammate Tracy Stalls to lead the national team offense with 15 points each. She has 12 kills on 18 attacks and also tallied three blocks. Hodge started the first two sets at outside hitter for head coach Hugh McCutcheon. Glass shared setting duties with Bryn Kehoe and started two sets. She guided Team USA to a .475 hitting percentage with a 61.0 kill percentage. She also has one kill in her only swing.

Glass and Hodge guided the Nittany Lion women's volleyball team to an unprecedented third straight NCAA title in 2009. The pair finished their Penn State careers with a 141-5 win/loss record at to be the winningest graduating class in program history.
