The Penn State Lady Lions (15-7, 7-5) will look to snap their three-game losing skid when they host No. 8/9 Ohio State (22-3, 10-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m., in the Bryce Jordan Center. Sunday is the final Subway Full Court Four Pack day for the Lady Lions. The four-pack includes four game tickets, four sodas and four vouchers for a 6" Subway sub at any State College location (BJC excluded) for just $40. The Lady Lions are looking for their first win over Ohio State since Dec. 30, 2005, a string of 10 games, but Penn State has been competitive against the Buckeyes at home losing its last three home decisions by a total of seven points.

RADIO/WEB/TV: The game is on the Penn State Sports Network with Jerry Fisher and Kellie Goodman calling the action. The game can be heard on ESPN Radio 1450. The audio feed is available at www.GoPSUsports.com. The contest will also be available on BigTenNetwork.com via a live video stream for $2.99. The game will air on a tape-delayed basis as a "Student U" broadcast on the Big Ten Network on Mon., Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: The Lady Lions shot just 26.2% (16-61) from the field and scored their fewest points since the 2006-07 season in a 65-44 loss at Michigan State Thursday. Penn State's 44 tallies are the fewest since a 55-41 loss to Michigan on Jan. 7, 2007. Senior Tyra Grant led the Lady Lions with 13 points and three steals, while freshman Alex Bentley added 11 tallies, all in the first half, to go along with two assists and three steals. Junior Julia Trogele accounted for five points and a game-high 12 rebounds and three steals.
SCOUTING OHIO STATE: The Buckeyes are 22-3 overall and 10-2 in Big Ten play on the way to a No. 8 ranking in the Associated Press poll. Jantel Lavender averages a double-double with a Big Ten-best 20.9 scoring average and 10.4 rebounding mark. Samantha Prahalis accounts for 16.1 points and a league-high 7.8 assists per outing. All five Buckeye starters average 7.8 or more points per game.
ALL-TIME VS. THE BUCKEYES: Penn State is 30-18 all-time against the Buckeyes, but has dropped its last 10 games to OSU. The Lady Lions are 15-5 all-time against Ohio State in home games. In the only game between the squads last season, the Buckeyes earned a 74-63 win in the regular-season finale on March 1, 2009. Tyra Grant and Mashea Williams each had 14 points in the loss at Columbus.
LAST TIME VS. OSU: The Lady Lions could not overcome the inside presence of Jantel Lavender (28 pts.) and Star Allen (25) in a 74-63 loss at Ohio State on March 1, 2009. Mashea Williams and Tyra Grant paced the Lady Lion attack with 14 points apiece. Williams also added three rebounds and three assists, while Grant contributed two rebounds and a blocked shots. Julia Trogele was the third Lady Lion in double figures with 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting to go along with six rebounds and a steal. Meredith Monroe tied her then-career high with eight points and set a personal best with nine rebounds.

FINAL GAME TIMES ANNOUNCED: The Big Ten announced the game times and television arrangements for the final two games of the regular-season. The Lady Lions will host Wisconsin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 for Senior Night. The game will be available on www.BigTenNetwork.com. The regular-season finale at Indiana will be televised live at 4 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
The Lady Lions host Minnesota on Thursday at 7 p.m. Penn State will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sport Day with members of the Penn State women's sports teams on the concourse signing autographs before the game. It is also THON night for the Lady Lions and for each single-game Penn State student ticket purchased, $5 will be donated to THON. The 2010 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State took place on Sunday, Jan. 24 when the Lady Lions take on Illinois in the Bryce Jordan Center. The first three Pink Zone events have raised more than $80,000 for breast cancer awareness. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
