The Penn State Soccer Camps are open to girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade in the Fall 2010. We look forward to working with you this summer, and we're certain that 2010 will prove to be another highly successful year for the Penn State Girls' Soccer Camps!

DAY CAMPS (June 21-25, July 19-23)
Penn State Soccer Day Camps are designed to provide girls in kindergarten through eighth grade next fall with the opportunity to focus on fundamental technical instruction in a relaxed learning environment. These weeklong camps feature small-side games and an excellent coach-to-camper ratio. Campers receive a soccer ball and a camp shirt. The day camps run from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

OVERNIGHT CAMP I for Individuals (July 18-22)
The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp I for Individuals is designed to help players learn how to enjoy soccer, enhance techniques, and improve skills. Demonstrations and round-robin tournaments feature proper soccer methods and enable participants to practice what they learn. Sessions focus on teamwork, preseason training, and special team tactics and strategies. An additional area of concentration is the development of positional skills and tactical training through functional practices designed to improve positional awareness and understanding. Campers receive a soccer ball and a camp shirt. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis from experienced instructors.

OVER NIGHT CAMP II for Individuals & Teams (July 23-27)
The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams is designed to help individuals and teams learn how to enjoy soccer, enhance techniques, and improve skills. Sessions focus on the development of positional skills and tactical training as well as teamwork, preseason training, and special team tactics and strategies. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis. This camp offers a great balance of individual skills as well as team development and strategies. Both individuals and teams are invited to attend Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams. Campers receive a camp shirt.

OVER NIGHT CAMP III for Teams (July 28-31)
The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp III for Teams is designed to provide varsity high school, junior varsity, and/or club teams with the opportunity to train and compete together under the direction and guidance of college and Olympic Development Program coaches. Each team will have tactical training sessions, technical pressure training, and match competition daily. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis. Teams must send a minimum of sixteen players to the camp. Campers receive a camp shirt.

If you are not a member of a team, individuals are being accepted for Overnight Camp I for Individuals and Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams.

Equipment -- Regardless of the camp, players should bring the necessary practice gear, including soccer flats and rain suits. Shin guards are required for all matches.

NOTE: You must bring five white T-shirts to train in during the morning sessions.

Recreation -- During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
